Product Care
- Washing: Wash Berber fleece in cold or lukewarm water to prevent shrinkage and damage to the fibers. Use a gentle cycle on your washing machine with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners, as they can break down the fabric's structure.
- Drying: Air dry Berber fleece by laying it flat or hanging it up. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources, as high heat can cause the fleece to shrink or become stiff. If you must use a dryer, choose a low-heat or air-only setting.
- Brushing: If the fleece gets matted, gently brush it with a soft-bristled brush to fluff up the fibers. Brush in the direction of the fleece's grain.
- Stain Removal: Treat stains immediately. Gently dab the stain with a mixture of water and mild detergent, then rinse with cold water. Avoid rubbing the fabric harshly.
- Storage: Store Berber fleece in a cool, dry place. If storing for long periods, use a breathable fabric bag to prevent moisture buildup and to protect from moths.
- Avoiding Pilling: To reduce pilling, wash Berber fleece separately or with similar fabrics. Turning the garment inside out before washing can also help.
